Christians who treat sinners with anything other than love are sinning themselves. I am sorry that you experienced such hatred in the past, because that is not who Christ Jesus is. Hating people is not what God asks of us, but we are to hate sin and all of the destruction it brings.The laws of God aren't supposed to "make sense" to us, but we are to trust that the Lord gives them because He loves us and wants to prevent destruction.Consider what AIDS is and then wonder why God abhors sexual sin.

isn't incitement to violence or terrorism illegal now? Isn't publishing a book about killing people illegal now? What are we (humans) thinking? If our brains are injured in car crashes, and the like, we are fundamentally changed, Why do we believe that, when our brains are fundamentally changed by death, we somehow rise above this world mentally intact and/or able to influence those we left behind? Why do we cling to this bullshit when everything we know refutes it?

I'm glad moderate/liberal Christians recognize the immorality of their holy book and disobey Jesus, but they are not consistent. Old Testament laws don't apply? Fuck the 10 commandments, then.
