im torn on buying a xr650r or a crf450x im 15 and i ride very good is a xr650r a good bike for me

@wolf120000 Go with the 450, Much better trail bike, its lighter and has electric start wich is a hug benifit when trail riding.

sweet video but you hardly need a 650 for that, i wouldn't be able to ceep it up if it was slick like that.

I like the torgue of the bike bore , it allows you to shift less and crawl with more tractability and it also has a nice seat.Down side is it likes to stay moving or it will boil over on stalls or long steep slow crawling grades, then again, i dont know what bike doesnt unless you run a 25lb. cap ! lol

ACTUALLY TO GET THE BIG RED PIG TO RUN PROPERLY YOU MUST. A. JET CORRECTLY.. B. GEARING USE A 13 FRONT SPROCKET FOR TIGHT TRAILS. C. MOST IMPORTANT USE EVANS WATERLESS COOLANT. SINCE PUTTING IN MY BIKE IT NO LONGER BOILS OVER. D. A RECLUSE CLUTCH NO MORE STALLING.. I LOVE MY BIG RED PIG. THERE IS NOTHING MORE RELIABLE EVER MADE. A 450X IS NICE BUT THE MAINTENANCE AND COST IS TOO HIGH. GET A CLEAN XR650R DO THE ABOVE MODS AND HAVE 4-5,000 DOLLARS LEFT FOR GAS.
