Video of a Michigan Dynamometer Association horse pull in Saline, MI. Off to a bad start, but managed a full pull of 27' 6".

Any comments/advice for improvement would be appreciated. This is my first upload to youtube and I'm still learning things.

  • @SeaCoastGirl1987 No not at all. Clydes have a notoriously lazy disposition. That is why Budweiser likes them so much for their parade hitches, less likely to run away. Belgians and Percherons are the most ambitious and athletic of the draft breeds. Clydesdales don't even come into the conversation...

  • These are belgians. And that is very hard on horses

  • You need a Clydesdale for that kind of job. Those are the best horses when it comes to doing a horse pull.

  • Why are these horse race
