  • Nice vid, I just used the 'fush and chups' example in the video you responded too. I'm Australian and I'm pretty sure we pronounce the 'i' :)

  • Of course. Afrikaans is a huge influence on Zimbabwean/Rhodesian accents. It was right in my face and I didn't see it. Most of our school slang was Afrikaans derived.

  • Pardon, when I say "the Scottish accent" I actually mean all of them. They differ a little depending on where in Scotland you are. Cheers.

    The Kiwi i you gave sounds exactly like the i that you hear parts of Scotland and Ireland. The Scottish accent is probably the one I like the most.
