New-born exitatory neurons in cortex - trangenic mouse

excitation: 910 nm
imaging depth: 400 microns

BAC transgenic Eomesodermin:EGFP (GENSAT) mouse pups at postnatal day 4 were perfused with 4% paraformaldehyde. The dorsal cortex was dissected and post-fixed overnight in 4% paraformaldehyde and stored in PBS. The GFP reporter labels a sub-population of excitatory neurons in the cortex.
