In the spring of 2003, three ingenue filmmakers (Jason Russell, Bobby Bailey, and Laren Poole) traveled to Africa in search of a story.
They produced a documentary that tells the tragedy that revolves around Africa's longest running war, where children have become the victims and the weapons.
Rebel armies, known as the Lord's Resistance Army(LRA), have been abducting children and using them as troops while they wage war against the Ugandan government. This originally caused the children to night commute, or walk miles nightly to avoid these troops. It is estimated that 90% of the LRA is abducted children. The film tells their story

I know the documentary is heart wrenching because it is difficult to watch children going through so much. I so sincerely appreciate the loving & compassionate person that you are.
Love & Blessings,

I'm trying to be as diplomatic as possible, but it seems that only ppl of color live in such barren, desolate places where death is an everyday event...and the world closes it's eyes.

All forms of media contribute to the effects of blinding the society. They ONLY show the world more celebrities & all kinds of ridiculous "entertainment" that dumbs down pple, while children struggle to stay alive everywhere (even right here in the US).
As long as pple choose to stay complacent, the media will always dictate to them societal ideals and "morals" (that will have absolutely nothing 2 do with compassion & respect).
Love & blessings 2 U always,
