Bradford's own Swan Arcade with their cover of Sting's song about the Miners' Strike of 84-85, with some random photos of the band and events. From the album 'Diving for Pearls' (1986)

I grew up hearing this song in the 80s, and I've posted it here for me dear old mother, who used to play it all the time. Cheers Mum!

  • Swan Arcade were - and always will be, as far as I'm concerned, the greatest of all the a Cappella bands. Dave Brady was a genius.

  • After 40 years of singing traditional songs, I was introduced to the music of Swan Arcade by the Wilson Family of Stockton-on-Tees. Thanks boys. This is my sort of harmony singing.

  • Oh thanks, love, great kitchen memories! xxx
