~~~~ This is a French horn tribute to John Williams I've arranged and recorded.
It's composed of some of his most famous themes and cues -as well as some more obscure stuff- selected from his scores from the 70's up until now.
I made the arrangement for 12 horns which I recorded one by one and finally mixed together to give the impression of a real horn ensemble. ~~~~
If you'd like to buy the arrangement, I'm currently working to have the sheet music published.
If you wish to be informed of any news regarding the publication, I invite you to subscribe to my website newsletter at http://www.marcpapeghin.com/newsletter
  • THIS. WAS. AWESOME. I am first chair in my 6th through 8th grade band, and I would love some sheet music. John Williams was actually my inspiration to play horn. One day I asked my dad, "What's that pretty instrument playing the duh duh duh duuuuh part in Star Wars?" He told me, and I said, "Wow I will play that then!" I love it, and I will never stop. You are amazing, and I would LOOVE some tips.
  • Do you have any advice on getting better at faster parts and still having clean tonguing as well as a good sound? The first hurdle would be to to get it up to speed. Anything is appreciated!
  • @Ryley Sharenn it's easy, the trick is to slur everything that isn't staccato. I'm only 13 and my band director says I'm better than her high school hornists. I think it works!
  • and i thought the solo i had at school was cool.............
  • OMG dude I watched this like a year ago wen I was beginning f horn and Ive improved but wow just damn...
  • haha, I still wished i continued. though, I have been doing well on Euph. :)
  • This is incredible. God I wish I still studied F. horn. The triumphant sound it can make is incredible <3
