Awesome! Deaf School created incredible music! They never played Chicago. Too bad because these appearances are mind-blowing! I bought all their albums as soon as they came out and I listen to them and love them!

I snagged a cassette my sister had with Don't Stop The World on it way back in 82 or so. I played the hell out of that thing. I still have it but the cassette when for a crap so it's nice to hear them again in great sound.

For the most part you're right. By in large, the POPULAR music of today is as interesting a three day old dishwater. But, I just wanted to make sure that you are aware of The Dresden Dolls...they are in this musical neighborhood I would say.

No, no, no.... I love Roxy (Top 5 easy)....maybe there would have never had been a DfSc w/o Roxy, but these guys were very special in their own right. They were more overtly influenced by the cabaret tradition it seems to me. I just wish they had created a lot more product. Too bed their third album was so wrong-headed.

grow up, its fuck all like roxy! more like sailor if anyone..deaf school are a great band in their own right,,, all the musicians in roxy were known as much as ferry because their music is on a higher plain.its not thought out before hand..usually ferry would lay his songs down and the rest would go in seperately too.(not allways) so no one would know the final take untill that final mix..this gives it a unique style and sound..fuck me, imagine having to re-create the andy mackay sax each nite?
