this is my old mare that my friend bought, i decided to take her for a run and ran the second fastest time in the juniors:)

im figuring most of u with the whipping comments kno nothing about barrel racing. first of all its not like she is beating the shit outa her mare. all shes doing is swinging her hand around so the whip just makes contact with the horse. all it does is reminds the horse they have a job and its not done yet. and if the horse had a problem with it that girl would hit the dirt. so dont make asinine comments unless u actually kno wut ur talking bout. Do you know what the patterns dimensions are? Our patterns here are 100 by 130 sometimes bigger and 14's take the money home. That pattern looks alot smaller then ours. What wins that arena?

not sure of the pattern size but the winning times range from 13.8's to 13.6's

alright so if this is horse abuse then what if a horse reared and i smacked it on the shoulder and backed it up so it wouldnt do it again... is that abuse too?

ummm have you seen other barrel racers? they all use whips....and jockeys do to....its not such a crime unless its abusive and this is def not abusive...

get your facts straight before you go offf on people..

@FreekyDragon96 Yes u do wear a helmet... Anyone can some people choose to come people don't its their decision. Yes if your under 18 you have to wear a helmet but other then that ur free to wear one or not... Just becuase it's western dosn't mean anything...
