Bustrip foodplaces in Burma

The food experience inside Burma was a eyeopener into midleclass Thai people behavior. If or when you are a guest in a Thai family you are always treated like a VIP but on a trip like this the food intake was more like a "grabbing party" and it was the thai ladys who jumpt on every plate of food to get the best pices for her self and her husband and sometimes they left a lot on their plate when finishing the meal while somone did not get their fair share.

Perhaps your not used to hungry people. I learnt long ago , when dining with asians, get in FAST or there is little left for the shy. Its polite to leave food on the plate to show you have had enough but you dont have to burp. Sometimes I do.
