@rottmist It's all opinionated and this song has nothing to do with liking a different version of a song. Arguing via internet has nothing to do with living in suburbia and wanting to live a monotonous middle-class life. The situation isn't ironic even in the slightest.

Weeds has created like 20 covers of this song, and they're all made out of ticky tacky and they all sound just the same. Then people take these covers which are played by different bands but are still all clearly the same tired song, and they argue about which one is best, and buy covers of a song that has already been done a dozen or so times, not even realizing the intense irony of the situation. Listen to the lyrics again and take another look around the inside of your metaphoric box.
