Me again..in addition to my stand question, are you going to place your heater down in this device? If so where?

@thom7667 You can place it anywhere you want. Preferable where water will pass through it so it can heat it up consistently. Good luck.

Is there a way to control the height of the water in the last chamber where the skimmer sits?
I have a" Precision Marine bullet 2 "skimmer and the drain is only 2.5 inches off the base of the skimmer and I only have 2 inches of clearance in the stand to raise the skimmer, and it is supposed to drain above the water level ,which means if the water level in the last chamber is any higher than 4 inches its not gonna work for me.

@wheelman2013 Sounds like you have some serious issues my friend. I say this because the lower the water level in the last stage, the more the air bubbles easily sucked into the return pump and into the main display. You can change the height in the last stage easily, especially since the only changes in water height actually occur in that last stage. You can simply remove some water, keep it at the 4 inch mark, and add a float valve and top off system to keep the level there. Good luck.
