  • Capt. Beatty's son was there for a while. He was a grade behind me. One thing I remember vividly about that day was that Dr. Gillespie had a problem with one of the students and had to dismiss him.

The woman at the beginning introducing the piece was Kathi Urban. I never knew if she was AD or a civilian employee.

  • That's about the time I was there as well (Oct 1981-Sept 1983). I'm in the classroom as a student, with the first Captain speaking, wearing either a blue satin jacket or a blue and grey t-shirt. TSgt Dabney was in the same classroom, and Dennis Trent must have been there on a different day (I've got on a different shirt).

  • I was stationed there from Oct 1981- May 1983. I remember all of the medical staff shown, and TSgt Dabney. Capt Nurse Beatty was very well thought of, very professional; Capt (DR) Gillespie was VERY highly thought of as a Doctor on and off the base. TSgt Dabney was also well thought of. I think the female announcer was A1C Joanne Noyes, a very nice lady (Got stuck in the AFRTS office and police and Fire Dept had to rescue her from a bad door lock.) The other Dr I saw but didn't really meet.

  • Man, they had some kick-ass graphics, didn't they? :-) What city was this?
