It does sound like it. The riff is a common one, but this just happens to be in the same exact key, is very close to the same tempo.

They are all great versions, is it only me though that can hear "black is black" bassline?

I think this version has the strongest vibe, and bit slower smoldering kind of tempo, like their 'Rari'. Pretty good pop anyway...I guess the Watchband more specialized in the acidic, whereas these guys mostly sang about girls. Maybe they were aiming top 40, and trying to be metaphorical?
