This is how I like to imagine the late 70's (fun and carefree.) I have a feeling it was nothing short of miserable in reality... but it was a rather filmic period, nonetheless.

No, you're right. The late 70's was fun & carefree for a lot of people. The Vietnam war was over and the recession of the early 80's hadn't happened yet. I was in high school 75-79. We thought the future would be fun and exciting, and couldn't wait to get out of the house so we could dress up and go disco dancing. I love your compilation; it brings back lots of memories.

@klaratava I just wanted to add to @darciecal by saying from 1970 to 1979 I was 6 to 15 years old. It will always be my most fond decade, perhaps because I was a child growing up, watching everything change. And the best part was being a girl then, because there were so many strong female role models, young and old. Glad you captured these. Jodie, Kristy and Tatum are all around my age. I grew up with them. So yeah, it was a real fun decade. lol
