  • Works great. Now I pickup channels from Russia. Next I'm going to get rid of my cellphone and use two cans and a string.

  • thats the ugliest thing i ever did see, but you should never judge a book by its cover eh? Awesome!

  • this works good i get CBC almost perfect

  • Because i got some bills to pay i needed something to hold me over till i got the money for a good antenna and i got to say this antenna delivered. Cost me about 6 bucks to throw together and i wasn't even very strict about spacings and lengths of the wires.. I basically watched the video, eyeballed everything ,copied the design and i got over 30 channels. The most i ever got with rabbit ears was 16. Thanks to uploader. It works real good. Epecially i live in kind of a dead zone for signal.

  • awsome! works never thought i can do anything with these pieces of jumk then bam

  • Very usefull for me..thank

  • @Douverwynn Yes the reflector is always to the back of the antennas that are pointing to a certain direction, you can use disposable Aluminum Grill Toppers sold at Walmart, you will need 4 of them and screw them to the back of the two sets of antennas, they work fantastically and are cheap!! Soo, the antennas are at the two ends and 2 grill toppers are at each end as well, (ie... 2 grill toppers per each side of antenna), they work just as well as wire mesh or chicken wire, and are less sharp!!

  • @hailherrosner Hopefully not a stupid question but when aiming the antenna is the reflector always in the back to where you are pointing?

  • found 80 channels!!! missing channel 7, 9, and some vietnamese channels i was able to see before w/ regular tv, using the hdtv box.... =/

  • @hailherrosner Up on the roof would be a problem (best place yes) but for now its in our attic on the third floor.

  • @Douverwynn Continued.... Read previous comment first, make sure once you build it that you try to get your antenna up as high as possible, preferrably on your roof, and the most critical part is you should try to face South or South-East or South-West, depending on whether you are West or East of the CN Tower, I would recommend a compass to help you out,or just move the Antenna a couple of centimeters each time and RE-tune on your TV, until you get the most channels possible, you will be amazed.

  • @Douverwynn The Square should be 3ft by 3 ft and the wire mesh should be behind the antennas to act as a reflector, it will significantly improve your signal strength, this is called an 8 Bay antenna and has about a 70 mile or 112 km range to pick up signals, you will probably get 14-19 channels in HD in Newmarket area, you should be able to get all the major Yankee channels such as NBC,CBS,ABC,FOX, etc.... I use 4 inch by 3 Ft long wood purchased at Home Depot $3.49 each, you will need 4 pieces.
