As a Star Trek fan, I was saddened to learn of Majel's death. Upon learning of her passing, I immediatly called a good friend of mine, Chris, who is also a Star Trek fan. He too was saddened to hear the news; but like me, was happy to know that she was able to complete her voiceover work as the Enterprise computer for the new Star Trek film scheduled for release in May 2009. "At least she was there to see it through." He told me.

I remember when Chris told me how much it hurt him to watch "The Crow" when it was released into theatres after Brandon Lee's death. (He was a VERY big Brandon Lee fan. Still is) And I remember how much it hurt me to watch Heath Ledger's heart-stopping performance as the Joker in "The Dark Knight" knowing he won't be returning to reprise the role. I can safely say I'll probably feel the same way watching the new Star Trek.

We'll miss you, Majel. Say hi to Gene for us.

The song I used in the video is "Eternity, Memory of Light and Waves" from the Final Fantasy X-2 soundtrack.

Thanks for watching. Your ratings & comments are appreciated.
