Awesome vids. Perfect camera angles to see the twists, bows and curves in the rough cuts. I know we all make our own assessments in what risks we are willing to take when it comes to safety, but the untucked loose shirt in the shop is dangerous and definitely gets close to a disaster in the jointer segment. I have had untucked t-shirts get stuck under the wood on a jointer but recognized it before it got to the blade. Just an observation and FYI.

Having the ability to re-saw a great piece is a great asset Allan.

Question: In Step 2, you mentioned that everything in your was 1m tall, but here it seems your joiner is shorter. Optical illusion? By Design? Or constrained by something else?

@abrannan I should have been clearer. My work surfaces and table saw are 1m. I left my jointer down at its height because often I have to get my weight over heavy boards to hold them to the infeed/outfeed tables. Also my planer is lower because it has the adjustable lower platen so it is really tough to get it to align to a fixed table even if I made a high stand for it.
