  • Hey all. thanks for the mostly cool comments.

I bought this car on Ebay 5 years ago and it's been really reliable and fun.

I'm told these motors last a long time and are easy to rebuild so we'll see how long it lasts.

I didn't do anything to this car actually. I drooled all over it on ebay for weeks and finally bought it and flew up to N.H. to drive it home.

The original owner put a lot of money into it. GPS, stereo, performance stuff etc. wish i had the paperwork : /

  • hey can you tell me the exact model of that exaust im looking to put it on my 328i

  • @polak1202 Hi,

    thanks for the comment.

There are two magnaflow catalytic converters and a dinan exhaust but that's all i know about it b/c it was all on there when I bought it and I have no documentation.

    sorry.

  • VIN = WBSBF932XSEH06466

  • does it take premium gas

  • well, the manual says it takes regular unleaded but the Turner Motorsport Chip upgrade book says it runs better with premium unleaded.

    Probably runs ok with either.

  • People if you are not a real motor head please refrain from making comments on mechanical issues. The higher octane prevents knocking which is premature detonation caused by high heat/pressure within the cylinders. Lower octane fuel has a lower combustion point than does higher hence the recommendation for high octane. It is sometimes based upon hp only as many modern cars are equipped with knock sensors that retard timing when it is detected preventing idiots from messing up their motors.

  • @zzsql You would be surprised these german cars (BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Volks.)

Need to have 93 octane fuel, I know cause i was short on money and filled my 400E Mercedes with 83 octane fuel and it ran TERRIBLE! Also in the owners manuel it says to put higher octane fuel in it. The fuel really matters on these German Beasts trust me. If you want high expectations on these wonderful pieces of machinery , then go with the 93 octane.

  • you upgrade the rims yet??

  • if your vin starts with WBSB its an m3.

  • THIS is the best SOUND for an E36!
