I Wanna Know You Nelena Story ep 26 part 1

Nick: why do you do this to me? *lays down next to her and gently rests his head on her lap*

Sel: *wakes up, opens her eyes and strokes him hair* do what?

Nick: *sits up surprised, nervous and embarrassed* how long have you been awake?

Sel: you and Jake talking on the stairs woke me up... *worried* what did i do to you?

Nick: *embarrassed* im going to check on the boys *gets off the bed and walks quickly to the boys bedroom* you guys almost ready for bed?

Jake: *Lying in bed* Yeah, Frankies fallen asleep already *laughs*

Nick: *smiles and turns to turn off the lights* ok, night Jake.

Jake: *Sits up* Nick?

Nick: *turns back* yeah?

Jake: *looks down* what happened at the hospital? I mean you just left Selly... *upset* Do you blame me for Selly getting hurt?

Nick: *walks over slowly and sits on the top of Jakes bed right next to him* Jake, it was never your fault that Sel did what she did. She did it because she loves you. Love can make any person do things they dont want to, ok? She knew what the consequences would be for her and shes fine now, nothings going to happen anymore, Ill make sure of that. But just because your mother didnt put any of the blame on you... doesnt mean you should be blaming yourself right now, ok? As i said before, Sel loves you and shell do anything to protect you.

Jake: *looks up at him, tears forming in his eyes* so... you love Selly? Is that why everythings all weird? Is that why you left her there?

Nick: *shocked and looks at Jake* I really think you should get to sleep Jake. Well talk more tomorrow, ok?

Jake: *yawns and lies down* ok, night Nick.... and thanks.

Nick: *ruffles his hair gently, walks out the room closing the door behind him and walks slowly to his room. Opens the door and sees Sel has changed into her pjs and was now lying on the bed facing away from him. He walked in cautiously, careful not to make a sound in case she had fallen asleep. He threw off his top and looked around for something to wear*

Sel: *turns to see what the noise is and catches sight of Nicks bare chest and quickly turns back* hurry up and put some clothes on...

Nick: fine *takes off his trousers and shoves on some pj bottoms but leaves his chest bare. Grabs two of the many pillows on the bed and a blanket from his wardrobe*

Sel: *watches him* Oh, good. Youre setting up my bed for me.

Nick: *turns back and lays the stuff out on the floor* weve had this conversation before, Selena. There is no way youre sleeping on the floor for a second time. Plus youre completely covered in bruises and scars. Theres no way this floor will be any good for your body.

Sel: *rolls her eyes and gets up off the bed and walks over to the bed Nick was making on the floor* And going back to protect Jake again and again wasnt very good for my body but i made it through that, and i doubt another night on the floor is going to kill me... do you? *reaches out to unfold the blanket and places it*

Nick: *takes her hands away from the blanket, holding them in his* look, your living here now which means, you get the bed, ok? Im not gonna let you have the floor no matter what happens. Its just not happening.

Sel: *looks at their hands while focusing on his words, then stares up at him* why did you run out earlier? Of the room? You just left... First the hospital and then here... Why?


Nick: *lets go of her hands and sits down, holding his knees to his chest* can we talk about this some other time. Were both knackered and im not in the mood for an argument, right now.

Sel: *sits next to him* why would this become an argument? Ive got nothing to be mad at you for. Unless youre mad at me...

Nick: *thinking yes i am mad at you... for being so irrestible and off-limits. But how can i tell you that* no, im not mad.

Sel: confused?

Nick: a little, i guess.

Sel: *glances at him again quickly before staring ahead blankly* about what?

Nick: *sits still and tries to prevent himself looking at her* everything, i guess.

Sel: is it really that bad that you cant tell me whats wrong. You said it yourself, im the only one whos gonna listen to you. Theres no point me being here if youre not gonna trust me like you said.

Nick: *whispers* Sel, i cant tell you everything. There are some things best left unsaid. Just please dont go...

Yeah.... thought id leave it there as this scene goes on for a bit and it wouldnt fit in but before you say anything..... its only part 1 haha xxx
