This is an interesting tape. It reveals that Paul was "punched in" a few times, and it sounds like the punch ins were recorded on different days, because the EQ settings are different. Did anyone else here that? It wouldn't suprise me, being as the Beatles used 'cut and paste' editing thru out their recording career (Strawberry Feilds, Glass Onion, Yer Blues...) Makes me wonder how much of this technique they used

Paul's bass playing really came into the mix when the Beatles got really good. This is up there with James Jamerson.
