2009 HARLEY-DAVIDSON V-ROD MUSCLE VRSCF DYNO RUN

Here is a video of the new V-Rod Muscle with TAB Performance exhaust, fuel manager, high flow filter, and custom map. Baseline stock numbers were 103.80hp/73.84tq and after mods were made numbers were 110.42hp/77.39tq

These partcular pipes were raw steel prototypes and had not yet been plated. Once the bike is tuned properly the operating temperature will stabilize and go down. By combining the proper air/fuel mixture and coat the pipes, which adds resistance to heat, there will be no blueing issues or changes in color to the pipes.

It looks like the pipes are changing color from the heat. Does the finish get ruined from the heat?
