How to sideload apps to an HTC Phone without Unknown Sources

How to get HTC apps onto a phone like the HTC Inspire or any other HTC phone that won't allow you to use Unknown sources to add 3rd party apps or paid apps for free.

@EnigmoEnigmo but u can just connect the phone to the computer then put the app on the phone then just download it from there. no need to download all the drivers and stuff

@Chris49xx the drivers are only needed in special cases. i just added that in there so a billion people wouldn't come asking why it didn't work.

HEY EVERYBODY!!! just go to settings-

Applications-manage applications-All-

customizable settings provider- then press clear

data-press back once-find settings-press clear

data-than you should find in applications

"unknown sources" you're welcome :)

@Chris49xx That works too, but this is still good for 3rd party apps or apps you or someone else created and haven't uploaded it to the market.

@Chris49xx - This Method works, but it'll prevent you from changing your wallpaper/ringtone etc until a restart is done. - Once restarted it'll take a bit for "WebRoot" or "Weatherbug" etc to show up in your notification bar (Seeing as you cleared their settings - You'll have to re-sign into Webroot)

Aside from unable to send Picture Messages and the things I listed above - I didn't find anything else wrong with my phone. - HTC Inspire
