is your car a manual or automatic???

nice gotta love the 08 lancer es it has potential to hook up as a tuner just gotta wait till the after market performance parts start flying in like crazy. I was wondering A universal supercharger would go good on this car I like turbo but turbo is to expensive to maintain and alot of things can can mess up the tranny with turbo supercharger is way safer, reliable, less maintanance, instant power, no turbo lag i guess ill have to talk to A performance shop see what I can do.

So how big did you go with the exhaust piping is it 2/12 or 3?

Sometimes the glasspacks sound awful but the sound on this is amazing....did you switch out the catalytic converter at all? I have a magnaflow exhaust on mine now and it just aint loud enough. Im thinking about throwin on a glasspack

@SkyeAxis And how much would it be to purchase & install a cherrybomb exhaust package? Cheers man
How's it going? I KNEW I recognized this vehicle. I believe I see you driving every morning to work on SR-70, around 6:45-7am.
Perhaps you have seen my vehicle? Black GTS with Ralliart style chrome, front splitter? Talk to you later.

@HollidayOwns Haha! Yeah, that's me! I've seen you driving every now and again too. My schedule is changing at work though, so I won't be going until about 8am.
You should check out Florida lancers.com, there are a bunch of us that get together and go to car shows in one big group.

Hey man! I'm getting a brand new 2010 Lancer ACTiV very soon (nothing special, pretty much based on a standard ES plus skirts,a spoiler,16" inch alloys & a chrome exhaust tip).. the weird name is just a promotional run they're doing in australia at the moment.. , regarding the K&N SRI,would i be able to purchase that at any spare parts dealer and get it easily installed at the mechanic's without too much hassle?

@SkyeAxis I got the K&N SRI at a local auto parts store, and installed it myself. It comes with directions, and it only took me about 45 minutes.
The exhaust I also bought at a parts store, and had someone custom weld it for me. The exhaust itself cost only $25.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with how it sounds, especially with how little it cost.
