Moscow's government has come up with a decision to bring big changes to the city's landscape. More and more high-rise buildings are being planned as part of an investment programme. And although skyscrapers offer sought-after views some people feel they ruin the city's architectural legacy.

  • I don't undestand the conflict between us? Why we are must abuse for skyscrapers. I'm russian, and i'm like american skyscrapers more than russians. But avhinese skyscrapers are the best! It is my opinion. And I'm think, that everyone must have own opinion, and stop to protect own country

  • Killing a jew in RT is a bliss, they're all directly run by the most evil jesuit daemons, most stupid and degraded. Fuck RT. G-d will destry them, Fuck manhattan too. I have a bar on Mars.

  • @Kingcarcas1349(con't) Moscow has room to expand unlike NY CITY has nowhere to go but up in a very concentrated area. Although Moscow's skyline can be admired or not, I'd at least say NY has a much more interesting skyline where period designs from eighty/100 years ago to modern glass behemoths are discernable. You say NY looks like all square boxes? Moscow's all look like the Ukraina/Radison Hotel, Foreign Ministry, Lomonosov. I love NYC and Moscow! Now, do you want to talk about St. Petersburg

  • @kingcarcas1349 Really? Along Sixth Avenue many are square designs from the 40's-1960's. I suggest you look at NYC's Woolworth, Cities Service, Federal Court House Building, General Electric, Helmsley/NY Central Building, Chrysler Building, Lincoln Building, Crown Building, 90 West Street, Gilendar, and the old Municipal "wedding cake" building which looks Stalinist and most resembles Lomonosov University. Keep in mind the small size of Manhattan compared to the expanse of land Moscow has!

  • Better not fucking knock down historical buildings to build those pieces of shit

  • @ronysib hahha where is wtc??? he he doesnt it hurt seing Russians building these

  • who the f... cares about this city? The most important is how an average citizen lives there, in the country. IF a citizen is sad living there or not. And you can stick all these "upscale" buildings in your fat, greedy a......le

  • @deelaregina they aren't....and darn you received so many negavite votes

  • @kingcarcas1349 Moscow is shit. In the 10 years time, they will turn it into yet another Shanghai,.. There is no one, who wants to live in this city any more, not even the ones who gets the financial backing to build this "fancy" buildings. The history background can be easily destroyed, but not easily forgotten.

  • @sweetivettforever I don't really know what are you trying to said here. Why is Russia "awesome"?
