Sonically imperfect but improved overall quality, much better than other uploads I've viewed .

Theodore Anthony (Ted) Nugent is an American guitarist, musician, vocalist, and activist. From Detroit, Michigan, he originally gained fame as the lead guitarist of The Amboy Dukes, before embarking on a lengthy solo career. He is also noted for his conservative political views and his ardent defense of hunting, conservation, and gun ownership rights.

Recorded live on Jul 21, 1979 at Oakland Coliseum Stadium (Oakland, CA) Day On The Green #3: Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush .

  • Bill Graham was the man... I always wanted to play the Fillmore east

  • I was at this concert and Ted was so fucking loud it was unbelievable!! Mahogany Rush, AC/DC and Areosmith played also!! Ted closed the show. Couldn't hear for 3 days!!! SO AWESOME!!!

  • THANK YOU, MY SONIC-BROTHER!

THIS was the Ted Nugent that I lived vicariously thru, met (this band; format); became friends with!

JOCK-ROCK---LOUD, CLOSE-IN, SWEATY; OBNOXIOUS---elements that, when it came to GIRLS/WOMEN, simultaneously got me rejected as well as embraced!

6 FENDER SUPER-TWIN REVERBS, feedback courtesy of the GLORIOUS GIBSON BYRDLAND, mountain lion screams w/him clenching that SHURE SM58 IN HIS TEETH---Ya' gotta' love the close proximity of WOMEN; CHILDREN IN THE WINGS!

  • @8TrackMachine Thanks. Great memories!! I have a bunch of pictures from these shows!

  • I remember a long time ago (circa 1980/81), I saw a video of Ted Nugent fainting. He came down from a helicopter, straight onto the stage, with people waiting for him to show up to play. Maybe the show was canceled, i dont know
