Red-Breasted Nuthatches at a birdfeeder, mixing with Black-Capped and Chestnut-Backed Chickadees. This feeder is about 50 miles south of the Seattle Birdcam.

  • The funniest thing happened on my back porch. I have a noise that I make to call all "my" animals (squirrels, Steller's Jays, Scrub Jays and Chickadees). Out of nowhere appears this little bird who seems unafraid of me (he's almost taken seeds from my hand). Now he is the first one to the porch when I start calling everyone. After a few days of research (I'm no expert), I just found out he's a Red-Breasted Nuthatch. He's quickly becoming my favorite.

Not sure why I had to share that. Oh well

  • Lovely video

  • Awesome video! Love the Chestnut-backed Chickadees. Looks like you also got a visit from a pine siskin at :26.

  • rocking chair sounds cool in the back ground.

  • Cool Video! You've got a pretty serious feeding station...

  • That one male is a real jerk.

  • great video!! Nuthatch's are my favorite.

  • Great video. Interesting to observe how the nuthatches chase away the sparrows.

  • Very well done
