  • I have trek 1.2 2009 /50cm.I thing very nice roadbike 400km in weekend.....................you can see in my Trek vdo:babizon1

  • hey...i just started biking 6 months ago...bought a schwinn seirra after telling salesman my needs..now i am hooked. now i am looking to upgrade...and trekk 1.5 looks like a winner....questions are: I got use to the hybrid type ride - the shock on the front fork of bike i have seems to make for a more comfortable ride - i dont see them on these step up bikes - is that something i should not worry about?

  • @challett3991 come out of the drop out just to shift and that could mean some precious seconds in a road race i know someone who lost by 3 seconds just for slowing down to tlk to someone but in no way am i trying to give this shop and bad name or say dont shop here im sure its a great shop but that is just my posistion of thoughts on this bike

  • @challett3991 i undserstand where you are coming from with the beginners but still i would probably spend a little more money and buy a trek 1.5 and im not saying its a bad bike but i mean if you want to go to spend a little more money ( in bike world 100 or 200$ isnt a lot ) i would just get a trek 1.5 i dont have my cannondale yet but i race a high quailty yetti arc great mountain bike but anyways i have ridden the trek 1.2 and when you are in a head wind and in the drop outs u have to come

  • i agree with you in some ways, i agree that you shouldnt buy this just because of the thumb shifters, but this is only a beginners bike, a bike shop like this shouldnt need to advertise a high end bike like cannondales because those are the bikes that only the top end riders would go after and the top end riders already know all about them. cheers

  • i would not get the trek 1.2 because of the thumb shifters you should spend more and get shifters like normal shifters. the bike shop i work at none of the guys there say that the trek 1.2 would be the joice of bikes because of the thumb shifters. although trek is a good brand cannondale and orbea in my opion are better... now you may not agree to this so dont flip out on me and be like fuck you you dont know what your talking about when i infact do know what im talking about!

  • it does. He said it wrong.

  • yea it is wrong, in the beginning he said 1.2 instead of 1.5,

Im going to get this bike soon, looks amazing!

  • but it's all about the clips man!

  • im getting this bike

but i thought that it came with 700x25 tires stock not 23.
