Packers First Draft Pick and Ted Thompson

Tramon Williams did an excellent job this year. I dont think we will get a CB this year. I think ted thompson made some smart moves this offseason. By giving the team some depth in some needed positions. Wasnt Justin Harrell supposed to be our big pass rusher? This is really the only move that i dislike about Ted Thompson.

My prediction this year is that Orakpo will go early, probuly going to the browns or bengals. We will probuly draft Raji or Everette Brown. Expect OL improvement also.

BJ Raji would be great to get to but getting a running back at least in the first pick would be unnecessary. I'm not a big fan of Ryan Grant but he did rush for 1,000+ yards last year.

I as well am hoping Orak "a sack" po will fall to us. And it is possible that he does. I personally am I big fan of BJ Raji because Nose Tackle is the most important position in a 3-4 defense and if Pickett gets hurt we are screwed. There is a lot of good pass rushing LBs in this draft. I would love to chat more about the draft if you want.

As far as the TT stuff goes.... he did try to sign some guys this off season. But TT is not an aggressive GM. He believes in....cont....

Damn I wish my Cowboys got Orakpo but it's not going to happend. Orakpo will fit in well with the Packers or the Browns

brian orakpo can also 2 gap, if we could get a orakpo, that would really open up a great opportunity for the outside linebackers to blitz, and we all know kampman has great ability to blitz. And yeah i agree with ted tompson. WHERE DOES ALL THE FUCKING MONEY GO! thompson at the start of last season, we had 3 quarterbacks, guesse how many starts they had COMBINED! 0!! Where does all of this money go, fair enough with doug melvin and the brewers, but ted tompson has a salary cap! where does it go!

It would be so sweet to get Orakpo. Ive been pretty high on him the last few weeks. I hope somehow he slides past Cleveland and Cincy. I dunno why anyone would think we take a cb that high with the more pressing needs we have.

He believes in building through the draft. Which is good in a sense. But TT needs to keep that money to extend our current players. Here are a list of the upcoming Free Agents at the end of next season:

Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Nick Collins, Aaron Kampman, Ryan Pickett, Chad Clifton, James Jones, Atari Bigby, Ruvell Martin, Tramon Williams... there is more but those are the main guys. TT is just saving that money to extend studs like Collins, Kampman, Jennings,etc
