Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island

Choosing the right tour or a reliable tour operator for a trip to Halong Bay can be a difficult task. After considerable research, we went with the recommendation by our friendly hotel staff in Hanoi and went on a 3-day, 2-night deluxe tour with the Imperial Junk.

Follow along as we explore Halong Bay, visit the Hang Sung Sot Cave, go on a bicycle ride on Cat Ba Island and kayak to isolated beaches.

Although it was a 2-night tour, we only spent one night on the Imperial Junk. The second night was spent in a beautiful beach-side bungalow on Monkey Island.
