@cream981 they are called giants and you pike a bit so you don't hit the low bar :)

i have not yet done the uneven bars but when you are going round and round on the high bars will you hit the lower bar

if you dont know what i mean by round and round look at 0:01 - 0:05

i miss gymnastics but unfortunately being tall & this sport dont go too well, ughh growth spurts -__-
