Toronto police homicide detectives said, Thursday, evidence leads them to believe the deaths of four people in an east-end home were the result of a murder-suicide, but did not reveal who they think was the killer.
Police also released the son-in-law of the couple who owned the home. He was seen by neighbours weeping in front of the house, Wednesday, before he was taken in for questioning.
The bodies of a pair of parents and their two adult children were found inside a bungalow on Welwyn Avenue, in the Brimorton Drive and Scarborough Golf Club Road area, Wednesday morning.
The gruesome discovery was made after a note was seen taped to the front door reading, "Do not enter, call police."
Neighbours identified the victims as Keith and Wanda DeLong, who owned the home, and their two adult children, Richard and Elizabeth.
