  • i really hope the bear and elk make a come back in missouri

  • @cussiepatt07 There is no reason to be scared of a black bear. I used to be, then I did some research. Look at the bear facts.

  • I dont' like these running lose in Missouri..Scarey!!!

  • @4vermont The entire state is a sanctuary, It's illegal to kill a bear in Missouri. Don't feed them, you will find that they aren't real fun to have tearing stuff up to get to dog food, your food, any food. They can be a pain in the arse if you provide food. Let them be as they are intended. We've been seeing them in the Ozarks for the last ten or fifteen years now. I think their numbers are higher than the Department of conservation thinks. Mountain Lions are back too, we've seen 6 this year.

  • They are cute but would tear you up :)

  • weve had little honey bears now any there like the size of a bear cub full grown and now getting black bears its exciting..... its cool with all the new species in the state (bears, elk, pigs)

  • yeah about 6 years ago i seen bear tracks in my back yard in the snow and ive seen the tracks every year sints in the snow

  • I just purchased 20 acres recently in Carter County and my neighbor said he saw some just up the road. I hope to see them sometime. They wil have a 20 acre sanctuary if they make it my way. !!!!!!

  • Bears rule!

  • Earlier this year I got snowed in and I walked my driveway, in Fredericktown, to the mailbox and on the way back I noticed large tracks in the snow along my diveway...bear tracks. I took pics of them.
