  • Thanks for the post - your demo was the clearest and most helpful. Successfully folded all my queen sized fitted bed sheets - ah, the simple joy of a neat wardrobe!

  • @phyltan64 GLAD it helped! Happy Holiday!

  • I've watched this a dozen times and have no idea what you're doing. Are you going into the long ends or short ends? I don't understand how your flat sheet is folded when you start. I want to do this but it's so confusing. The video is too fast and more explanation would help since it's difficult to see what you're doing. When you put the fitted sheet on the flat sheet, I can't tell where the corner part is.

  • @Sinduction Okay, Basically, I unwrapped an already folded set of sheets and then tore it apart to show the steps in folding the FITTED Sheet. The Fitted sheet seems to be tricky for most. The top sheet is simply folded in fourths, and then used to lay the box sheet and pillowcases.

The box (or Fitted sheet), is basically a four cornered rectangular box. The idea is to get all the corners together, and that's what I'm trying to depict in the video. More in the next note...

  • @four2x4 By the way, it doesn't matter whether you use the longer end or shorter end of the sheet. As long as you shove the opposing corners together, you will get it to flatten out!

Anyways, ... think of the fitted-sheet laying on the ground upside-down, like an empty "box" pool. The trick is to fold the sheet in half, and, by turning the 2 corners inside-out, and inverting them, you now have the first step done. Then fold in to 1/4 and again invert the corners you are moving again...

  • @Sinduction ..now you have all four corners shoved together, allowing you to fold the sheet flat. At this point , you can use your imagination as to how you want to fold everything together. This is a personal pref., depending on the amount of space you have. It's really hard to explain, but I hope this helped a bit. The video is the best I could do, but I might try again someday!

  • @Sinduction At :57 you will see the top sheet that is folded in fourths. That's all that is. After i run through the steps of folding a fitted-sheet, I then bring it back to lay everything back together. Hope these notes helped!
