5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe departs Marylebone Light Engine, Tender First, after working The Bekoing Bard special from Marylebone to Stratford-upon-Avon to celibrate 80 years of Bekonscot Model Village and Railway. She Ran tender First as far was South Ruislip and then ran to Greenford Triangle to turn and then ran engine first back to Tyseley.

The bloke in the high vis jacket seen in the video is and Idiot Jobsworth, tryed too spoil it all!

standing toward the end of platfrom 5 & 6 and he come along and say"you cant be hear for healt and safty your a distraction to drivers" What rubbish, all drives have seen people on platforms before!!!!! His next excuse was that we didnt have high vis jackets, wel what rubbish, because in the offical enthusiasts guidelines its says " Do Not Wear anything which is similar in colour to safety clothing, such as high-visibility jackets, as this could cause confusion to drivers and other railway employees" 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe then departs so it got to film it, and as for him, we He will certanly be getting a complant! One more thing, hear the link to the office enthusiasts guideline, so you can see I was in no was doing anything not permitted!

  • Hi 60103Henry ,stood next to you at KX with Bittern and Tornado last month Anyway ,nice shot of 5043 backing out of marylebone. talking to the 47 crew my disc ran out. I filmed them leaving ecs. One of them told me he was going to wind 580 up and thrash it out of the station so I stayed at the cabside and when he pulled away he did try! Saw the other platform and thought I had made a mistake where I was,but it was ok. call the Tyseley guys-The Tyseley A TEAM! in future Nice fellas- Respect!

  • Thanks, yes Its plane common sence not to wear a hi-vis on a station platfrom as it look like your a meber of staff or pertending to be one, so god know when he said we should have one on!

  • stupid jobsworth! He doesnt even know his job! I was told about hi-vis clothing as in the period October-March I have to wear a hi-vis on my bike, I was told not to wear it on the station by a friend that works there!
