i'm not sure how comprehensive is your experience with the franciscans and dominicans BLACKCAPPA, but i suggest, you need to discover more of the details with these mendicants orders before passing judgement to them.

could be. i'm just so tired of the dissidence that's existing in these orders. i mean, what do you do when people are being defiant. either Jesus gave the Church the authority to bind and loose or he didn't.

"we" cannot do anything. Only the Pope can do such a thing and it would be unfair to those who faithfully serve God through serving the Church.
Excommunications would be an easier procedure imho.
