  • Did you sell it yet? What year is it? What size is it? Where are you located?

  • @wa2go No I haven't. I'm in Chile. If you need further details, please contact me.This piano is a jewel, but nobody in my family can give it the care it needs.

  • Thanks for your comment Rutheford. In fact, I'm trying to sell this Piano, as no one use it anymore.

And yes, it's veeeery old. At least is still giving good tunes.

  • Con una buena afinación, el piano podría sonar bastante bien.

  • Does it by chance have a little plate on the left side of the fallboard (the part that closes over the keys) that says "Casa Elbo, Santiago"? We brought our Bluthner from Santiago in 1978, and it happened to have that little plate on it. Ours was from 1899. This is an extremly valuable piano. One of the finest made in the world. The company is still making pianos, and they cost new as much as a house or a Rolls-Royce.

  • Nice piano. And I ascertain that it HAD really sound as well. But your piano seems not to be treated in right ways that a piano ought to be.

That piano is indeed a label of time, pride of the maker, and one of the most beautiful things that humans have ever invented.

Please give her better care/I love pianos very very much. And I know that she deserves to be loved^^

  • Very nice piano nice sound :) but it's true it needs(ed?) a right good tune, as the music you're playing here's coming out a semitone lower. Keep playing :)

  • @HornungMoeller but Für Elise is one of the simplest Songs.. ^^

  • @physikphilosoph thats one of the best comments :D

It sounds like the old ShipPiano from Titanic =D frag mich wieso ich englisch schreib :D

  • The Piano needs tuning. But I think you play very very good! No need of piano-teachers. They just make everyone play end think the same way. Boring.

I love your old Piano - these old pianos all have theire own story to tell.
