Windows 7 x64 Build 7137. But it does not matter since it is the AmazePc USB DMB-TH HDTV stick that caused the crash. This can also happen with other devices with buggy drivers on other versions of Windows.
No, this is actually possible. I was playing Plants vs Zombies for shits and giggles, and I guess I used too many resources and it crashed, and the cursor still drew on top of the BSoD.
@WinAndLinuxTutorials did u hear the crash sound?

GUYS, HOW HE DID IT.
1.Set HD BSOD as wallpaper
2.Caused a real BSOD in a virtual machine and used a recorder to record the sound
3.Opened the sound and minimized it, also put it in repeat.
4.Killed Explorer.exe
5.Unplugged his mouse and keyboard

No, I don't 100% agree with you. Maybe you are right, but I am suspicious that you did the following steps:
1. Downloaded a BSOD wallpaper and you set it as the desktop background
2. Killed explorer.exe
3. Done! Now your desktop looks like it has a BSOD with a working mouse cursor!
Another thing I am suspicious of is the "dumping physical memory to disk", It should be at 100 and then the BSOD pauses or the PC restarts.

If there's a mouse in the BSoD, it's probably a virus rather than a hardware issue :3

@jogea07 Ahh, it's just the monitor. If he had a desktop as old as that monitor, he wouldn't be running 7 ultimate
