Strange Sound Heard In US, Wisconsin

My family was woken up around 4:30AM by this strange sound. Location Wisconsin Rapids, WI USA Jan, 27th 2012 Lasting about 30 mins from 4:30AM to 5:00AM.

@Moonsheart14 Check out the link I've posted in the description. This is a Facebook page for the school house we live in. It has posts from other people in town that heard the sound. Some think it was the paper mill so I called. They said it was not them and thought it was caused by a train with one of it's breaks locked up. I'd buy that if it hadn't been going on for hours. People reported this sound as early as 2:00AM. It doesn't take a train hours to go through this small town.

Any train tracks nearby? Trains sometimes have that kind of whistling-squealing type of sound... especially if they're moving slowly... Thats creepy tho :/

I herd sounds slimier to this.... Some of the sky sound vids probably are fake but some of this stuff is the real deal. I know because i have herd it

I've seen many videos like this with the strange sounds many believe its caused by something called the "haarp" some say its government experiment used to control weather look it up you'll find plenty of info on youtube

We were in Fish Creek, Door County, and we heard a really strange metallic sound around 4 am on January 31st 2012 that lasted for over an hour. It filled the sky and we could hear it easily in our hotel room.
