If you see a soldier on the street, salute and thank them for their service to our country. And if you happen to see a soldier walking alone in an airport, go up and say thank you. Make their day!

About the video:
I really liked this ad and thought I'd pair it up with a great song. I guess you could call this an experiment in editing.

  • The problem I would have with saluting is that I don't think I would deserve a salute back.

  • @goldman223 not true, its a show of respect. as long as you dont do it like a jack ass.

  • Coming back he was probably like "Finally.... some piece and quiet.... oh god this guys gonna ruin it."

  • @Runescapeguides110 COOL THANKS

  • cool thanks

  • @pvlamb i think i wrote it down somewhere, ill try to find it.

  • does anyone know the name of this soldier? there is a brief glimpse of his name tag..does it say "Lamb"?

  • that soldier came to our school to give a speech. pretty motivating

  • @BettaDragon I agree! I came back from 17 months in combat on November 21, 1970 and all I got was snide remarks and things thrown at me. I salute every serviceman or woman I see and will continue do do so untill they plant me.

  • @82ndarmy Agreed, i have plenty of friends at home that salute me to show respect, and i salute them back. Its not because they're military, its because they respect me, and i respect them. The same purpose we do it in the military, to show respect towards higher up.

  • a SALUTE A combination of showing an empty right hand, palm outwards, which was then raised formally to a helmet to raise a visor would demonstrate non-aggressive intentions, and therefore respect. That's all people do when they salute our soldiers respect and pride.
