Hi everyone,

this video's about the alphabet in Dutch and/or Flemish.
I'll also be paying some special attention to difficult sounds, the vowels and the consonants.

Every sound or letter will be presented to you with a new Dutch and/or Flemish word, with translation :)

Hope you enjoy! Don't forget to send me more requests

  • Flemish isn't a language, the language spoken in Flanders is Dutch, all the words being pronounced in the video are Dutch words.

  • @bangbgood I know that. But please go watch to videos in which I explain the purpose of this channel first.

  • Ek praat Afrikaans. Byna dieiselfde as Vlaams maar met verskille. Maar Vlaams is nader aan Afrikaans as Nederlands

  • I'm Dutch, but I just love the Belgian pronounciation, thats why I'm trying to learn it. Belgian just sounds so sweet!

    Wunderrrrsex!!!

Guck mal hier: de *Punkt* wikipedia *Punkt* org/wiki/Niederländische_Sprache

  • You've mentioned me! My gosh!

  • It's not boring at all!

I appreciate a lot the effort you make so as other people all over the world can hear your language and learn to speak the basics of it. I'm czech and I'm fluent in french, english and portuguese, but this video was pretty usefull for me, when I was in Flanders. For me, when a foreigner makes effort at least to say basic polite phrases in my language, I take it as a certain sign of respect and I appreciate it. So when I travel abroad, I try to do so too.

    Dank u wel ;-)

  • None of these sounds have any similarity to the sounds you're implicating if you listen to folks in Tennessee...oops I mean Tay ner see uh

  • Sorry, I meant, "I can really say I didn't mind"... That stupid French exam from this morning leaves me a bit confused :D

  • Well, as a German I can't really say I didn't mind how you said "Tschüss" ;) Thanks for the vids, helps me understand the announcements in the Metro in Brussels a bit better
