would I be able to order this book to be shipped to the US, or are there any Stateside companies that carry it? it looks to be an excellent resource (especially for someone like me who's relatively new to OS X and could use a quick primer to get me acclimated to the OS)... great review!
(also, I noticed you use Crucial RAM, have you had a good experience so far with it? I've been a diehard Kingston fan for years but keep hearing really good things about Crucial, I was just curious)

Should be available on Amazon, or in all good book stores. Re. Crucial RAM, it has always been my choice, even before I got involved in reviews I always used it. Have never had a problem.

I had used a visual reference book exactly like this one when I purchased my first ever computer/laptop the Macbook Pro OS X 10.4.11/TIGER last year. The other book I used is the 'Tiger- "the missing manual" by David Pogue. There is nothing worse for the beginner, than working on a computer, trying to work out a problem that maybe just a click away and with books like the one you have reviewed allows for no time wasting and gives the computer user confidence.
