Last year during the spring months Mickie started sleeping in the bathtup. I put together this video for Autism Awareness Month, but have been so busy I forgot to upload it. He has since stopped sleeping in the bathtub, but I thought it was cute at the time.

  • Sorry, you have a wonderful son. I was wondering have you tried 100% pure & natural lavender oil. I purchase this from the whole food stores. It calms my son and helps he relax. It is by Now-personal care. God bless.

  • @mikers1242 No I haven't, but I'll try it.........

  • It looks like a comfort thing it's quiet small and safe

i got my son a super large tent with big window openings for the sun,

he zips it up and he can sleep there and play an hes just happy in his own space....

  • @1greentoad It probably is a comfort thing. After this he started sleeping on his night stand-not very comfortable. He just keeps moving around the house and falling asleep anywhere. :)

  • Hi, I was wondering have you tried melatonin to help her sleep? She is precious and I also have a son that was diagnosed with autism. It takes a lot of patience and prayer to get throught the day. You will be in my prayers. God bless!

  • @mikers1242 Yes, and it works a little for a while, then he seems to become use to it and it stops working. I usually give him breaks and just start him back on it. He is a boy, but his hair was a bit long then. :)

  • Very cute video. Does he breathe through his mouth when he sleeps? Does he often sleep sitting up? Get his tonsils and adenoids evaluated.

  • cool
