  • @anenigmainme

The song is Don't Go Back To Sleep on Vision II by Graeme Revell

  • this is wonderful thank you for this gift :) I am wondering about the interview extract and the reading at the end of don't go back to sleep..would you be able to tell us where they are from , what album ? I have two of CB reading Rumi but don't recognise this track on them...thank you again !

  • @Moonskinlight

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The Coleman Barks piece comes from a PBS Bill Moyers series that was done over 15 years ago called The Language of Life. The final part is from an album called Vision II by Graeme Revell

  • if your soul left.

what would it come back with?

  • Chinese takeout, I imagine. ;-)

  • @guybrush544 thank you so much :)

  • this is just. beautiful.

  • The people must more listen what great men (or women) say , especially from poetry!

  • @guybrush544 thank you so much for letting me know , ! I have just found a copy of the Vision II by Graeme Revell :)

  • I love Coleman Barks!

  • I just adore Rumi and this one in particular. One does not need to belong to an organised religion or be in a physical building of worship to feel the wonder of God, Love, The Universe, The Beloved (call it what you will). Its inside of us, and all around us and in every moment. For me Rumi's words make me feel whole, complete, like I have come home and I belong. Beautiful Post.
