Final project for my 3d animation class, even though half of it was done with after effects. Voice over is bad. Model and animations done in lightwave.

**What I didn't have time to do on this project was explain how the zapper can pick out individual targets on the screen when there's more than one. It's not incredibly complicated though, each target's white box is displayed on its own frame (which is why there's never more than 2 or 3 targets on the screen at a time in most games - the screen would go black for just too long).

  • if all the gun does is detect light, then how does the nintendo know where the gun is pointing at to create the white square?

  • @jpcotes The square stays where it is, its up to the gun to see it. It's your target, so if the nintendo knew where the gun was pointing and created it you'd never miss.

  • @1931997 I still don't understand though, how is the white square created again? Does the gun create it? If so, how?

  • @jpcotes The white square is always there behind the ducks, it just gets shown when you pull the trigger.

  • @1931997 oh I see. this is a class video man. thanks.

did you by any chance make the 3d one that explains how the wiimote works ?

  • @jpcotes no, but I know him. and yes his video is much better than mine.

  • why doesn't it work on LCDs or HDTVs?

  • worlds first wii =D

  • The duck IS the white square. When you pull the trigger, the screen goes blank except your target, which the gun is looking to find. if it doesn't see the white, you missed

  • got any more of these? this is interesting stuff. I liked the one I saw like this on the Wii console. you should do other consoles and electronics stuff.

  • @MarkOmo83 Lol

  • Awesome I've never really understood this though I knew that no technology has been created for TV's to be intelligent to our movements. yay!

  • very acurate

  • @1931997 much better? they both look pretty good to me man!
