No offense, but sometimes filipinos are a little overboard with their pride. I understand that you're proud of your people but why can't you just be proud as Asian Americans as a whole? Why do you always have to bring up "pinoy pride!!!#@%". It kinda kills the whole asian unity.

@MistressSerenity You may want to ask other asians about the whole unity situation. That's another subject into itself. There's some slight fragmentation in Asian pride as with any other ethnic pride. Some will not event consider Southeast Asians as part of the Asian Unity. Others even equate Asian Pride as - Japanese, Chinese and Korean. While others don't realize that Indians, Pakistanis etc are asian also.

hearing the questions the guy asked, it sounded more like she was forced to answer the question about Asian stereotypes as a whole. I don't blame her for answering the questions, and it seems part of her answers were just fun sarcasm. Who cares if some of us go overboard about what their proud of. I think its a matter of confidence versus insecurity versus the media and digging in too deep about every word recorded on camera.

@PacificRimVideoPress philipinos are a little overboard tho im asian came from asia now living in america but they kinda really go overboard with it im all for asian pride but theres a degree when being pround takes over your message and thats when it ends up being a bit pathetic
