One of the first things we do on location is to do a custom white balance setting. This saves us time in post production. Here Jason Brown (http://www.rastudio.ca) demonstrates how he uses the ExpoDisc (http://www.expoimaging.net/)

  • Noobs, simple noobs :)

  • @cdelviscio As a rule of thumb, this would only happen when exposures slower than 1/125 of a second are used for either the custom white balance, or the subsequent shot of a subject. The reason for this is that exposures slower than 1/125 of a second begin to be influenced by the ambient light present in the shooting environment. - Taken from expoimaging(dot)com :)

  • does it matter what your shutter speed is while setting your WB?...i would guess that you just want your shutter set at the speed that your going to use
