Video music: Kasabian - Club foot

Saturday 21th February 2009 Its my third visit in a week and just three weeks till SAWs opening day. Many workers on site today, most came in just for painting and the theming. Lots of work has happened today, with some finishes and touches added around the site. Some signs for the ride have been put up as well as the CCTV cameras (not sure if they were real or just the theming) and barb wire put up on top of fences on the queue line behind the station building. Fake windows have been installed to the building. Not much testing going on today but managed to get you one or two videos. My next visit will be in 2 weeks but you can still see updates from around the web on my blog.

First time INFO....
Based on the popular blood, gore and suspense horror film series SAW, THORPE PARK will be inviting you to Face Your Fears on our terrifying new attraction SAW The Ride opening March 14TH . The ultimate test of SAW - The Ride will be the beyond vertical drop of 100º from a height of 100ft, making it the steepest freefall drop in the world. The ride will draw on terrifying elements from the films to make sure everyone will have a fantastic ride experience unique to THORPE PARK!
The park will open for the full 2009 season on Saturday 14TH March.

Thorpe Park located in UK, Chertsey, Surrey, in the beautiful town of Staines (Not!)

Opening - The ride is due to open in the Spring of 2009 (14th march)

Inside the station building (for those who keep asking) - Riders will begin in the station building, where the car will then move forwards and plummet down a vertical drop, and to then proceed to spiral down further into the building, turn after turn, dodging obstacles before entering a Zero-G roll and coast out the building.
