Whitney had said that before "The Bodyguard" her and Bobby were doing it "lightly", only using drugs sparingly, but directly after, it got "real heavy, real quick"...although it was her choice, influence and lack of formidable and God-fearing examples takes a major toll on the Hollywood scene...sad to look back and know that it was slowly eating away at her and Bobby just sat there like a coward...no real man would put his wife and child in harm's way like that...JERK!

Damn Whitney was so grounded and peaceful here so different to the out there whitney that appeared in public at different award shows interviews and on oprah etc She didnt even do that whole thing where she talks weird like with that heavy accent the way she does these days (im talking even when she has appeared clean and sober). I still love her regardless

then whitney should've written her own song. however whitney performed it she was still singing someone else's song and knew there'd be royalties to pay.

aint it funny how the biz side goes. most people who ever even knew about this song in the first place had long forgotten about it. and then whitney came and blew it up. now it's a standard. everyone is familiar with it. but whitney doesn't get most of the royalties from the success of her reworking of the song. dolly can't grumble that whitney sang it better because whitney singing it made her richer than ever. it's a continual "ka-ching" for dolly over that song now.
